I was thinking that instead of passing links back and forth with my own sites, I should try and find other companies that would like some organic free one way link opportunities. I know that I cannot afford to pay for link building but this idea may just work. I think that after hearing some of my friends discuss that they pay a company to do just that, I could handle it on my own.

I first needed to find some companies that are somehow related to my site and then write up some type of letter to send to them asking if they would like to participate in my organic free one way link program. If they sign on, then I can always continue to find additional sites that are in need of some quick free link building. Local stores that are in competition with the big chain stores would benefit the most from the free one way link program.

I know from experience that when you are locally owned, you cannot pass on the lowest prices and staying in business is harder than you ever expected. If some of the smaller stores can rank on the search engines for certain keywords and phrases then they should be able to add to their sales from the stores.
